Our Demands.

I . Concerning the health of the population

1. Switzerland must use all available political and economic means to:

a. ensure that the blockade is lifted immediately so that urgent medical supplies, food and diesel can reach Gaza, provided and/or guaranteed by independent organizations (UNRWA, UNICEF, etc.)
b. ensure that the attacks on medical facilities and healthcare workers in Gaza - and Palestine – stop immediately

2. Switzerland must cease all economic relations and impose sanctions until the violation of human rights and international laws stop.

II. Concerning international laws

a. Recognize the State of Palestine.
b. Switzerland must use all available political and economic means to ensure that the war crimes committed in the last 22 months are prosecuted. The investigation of these war crimes must be carried out by independent bodies, not by the Israeli military. Switzerland should cooperate closely with the International Criminal Court for this. Persons for whom an arrest warrant has been issued by the International Criminal Court must be arrested if they enter Switzerland.
c. Switzerland must call on Israel to provide evidence for the accusation that medical facilities are being used as command centers for Hamas. To this end, independent observers and international journalists must be admitted to Gaza to assess the situation on the ground.
d. We call on Switzerland to make every effort to ensure that not only the Israeli hostages are released, but also those abducted from the Palestinian territories (and especially the at least 185 healthcare workers) who are being held without charge, fair trial and contrary to the rule of law. Switzerland must work to ensure that the ICRC has access to these people and that their rights are respected.
e. Ask the International Court of Justice if it is appropriate to close the economic relations that exist between Switzerland and Israel until Israel withdraws within its borders of 1967.
f. Since Israel has been violating the Geneva Convention and international law for 22 months, Switzerland must immediately impose sanctions against Israel, cease economic, scientific and military cooperation and stop any kind of arms sales to Israel (or arms purchases from Israel) - as it has rightly been doing with Russia since the start of the Ukraine war.
