60,000 names. Switzerland, act now.
On 14 September, we held a silent protest on Bundesplatz in Bern at the opening of the autumn session of the Swiss Parliament. In front of the Federal Palace we laid out 60,000 names of people killed in Gaza, to give at least some of the victims a face and an identity back.
Our demands to the Swiss government
- Call on Israel to open Gaza’s borders to humanitarian aid and independent media.
- Resume taking in and treating severely injured civilians from Gaza, especially women and children.
- Impose sanctions on all individuals, companies and institutions involved in violations of international law. As depositary state of the Geneva Conventions, Switzerland must uphold its duty.
